Morning Veil

Huila, Colombia
Price range: $26.50 through $59.00

Clean, bright Colombian single origin from the highlands of Huila. Expect citrus lift, panela sweetness and a smooth cocoa finish. Easy drinking, balanced, and versatile across espresso and filter.

Grown in the highlands of southern Colombia, this Popayán Reserve showcases everything that makes Huila one of the country’s most respected coffee regions. Sitting between 1,700–1,900 m above sea level, these high-altitude farms produce coffees with natural sweetness, vibrant acidity, and excellent clarity in the cup.

Built from a blend of Caturra and Castillo varieties, this lot delivers a well-balanced profile – bright citrus up front, rounded sugar sweetness through the middle, and a clean cocoa finish. Castillo in particular is known for its smooth, balanced cup with gentle fruit notes, making it highly approachable while still retaining character.

The washed process keeps things crisp and structured, highlighting clarity and brightness without pushing into sharp acidity. The result is a dependable, everyday coffee that works just as well through milk as it does black.

Tasting Notes: Citrus, Panela (raw sugar), Cocoa nib
